The senior went undefeated in singles and doubles play to extend the Rebels’ perfect record to 3-0

 UNLV women’s tennis senior Coco Zhao has been named the Raising Cane’s Outstanding Rebel of the Week, the school announced Thursday.

The award goes to the student-athlete who turned in the best individual performance during the previous week of competition from Monday through Sunday as voted on by the UNLV Athletics Strategic Communications department.

Zhao, a native of Harbin, China, went a combined 6-0 in singles and doubles to help the Rebels to a perfect 3-0 start to the season. Over the weekend, she won her matches by a total score of 36-6 in singles and 18-3 in doubles play as UNLV downed Weber State, Oral Roberts and Youngstown State.
