This month, the Dragon Room welcomes nationally touring headliners like T-Rexx, Jack Jr., Keon Polee, Mike Merryfield and Nikki Car to help shed the winter blues and bring on the spring sillies. The L.A. Comedy Club, dubbed “The younger rebel brother of Improv” by Casino Player Magazine, has been entertaining Las Vegas locals and visitors since 2007. Known as the spot “where comedy comes to party,” the repeat gold “Best of Las Vegas” award winner has relocated its famed Dragon Room to a custom-built 270-seat showroom on the main casino floor at The STRAT Hotel, Casino & Tower.
Minors under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a guardian. No minors under the age of 15 are allowed in the showroom. Ticket prices start at $39.95 plus taxes and fees, with the option to purchase L.A. Comedic veteran, Butch Bradley, grew up in Atlantic City, New Jersey and started his comedy career by becoming a founding member of the Boston Improv Troupe. Bradley has been the opening act for comedic legends like Ray Romano, Lewis Black and Cathy Ladman and has appeared on HBO, Comedy Central, has been a regular on “The Late Late Show” and toured festivals such as the Aspen Rooftop Comedy Festival, the Montreal Just for Laughs Comedy Festival and made an appearance as a USO Entertainer. Bradley has received multiple awards for “Best Comedian,” including three consecutive golds and a bronze from the Las Vegas Review-Journal’s “Best of Las Vegas” awards. Bradley’s comedy special, “Butch Bradley: From Las Vegas” is currently available on Amazon Prime. He can also be seen on the big screen in the recently released film “Reagan” starring Dennis Quaid.

Monday, April 28 through Sunday, May 4: T-Rexx featuring Jake Baker
Todd Rexx, known throughout the comedy world as “T-Rexx,” is a New Jersey native who made his debut on the comedy scene in 1992 when he took the stage at The Comedy Café in Washington, D.C. T-Rexx has been winning over audiences with his over-the-top impersonations and brilliant crowd interaction ever since. Rexx has made numerous television appearances, including BET’s “Comic View,” “The Tonight Show,” and HBO’s “Def Comedy Jam All-Stars,” among others. His comedic talents have taken him all around the globe as he has performed in Europe, Japan, Canada, Mexico, the U.S. Virgin Islands and nearly every state in the country.
Born in the backseat of a car in Compton, CA, Jake Baker’s road to stand-up seemed a natural destination. With over 18 years of experience, Baker has performed grassroots stand-up across the U.S. and abroad, captivating audiences with his “askew” perspective and out-of-the-box thinking. He is known for his role as Curtis Clearwater in the hit YouTube series “Whiskey, Weed & Women.” Throughout his career, Baker has headlined countless comedy clubs, performed for U.S. military troops in Afghanistan and Kyrgyzstan, entertained at concerts and private events and taken the stage wherever a hot mic and a ready crowd await. With appearances on national platforms like Sirius/XM Satellite Radio and ESPN Radio, he continues to bring his artfully crafted and engaging performances to life.

Jack Assadourian, known as Jack Jr. on stage, grew up in the comedy scene as the son of comedy club owners. His Armenian and Mexican background made for great stand-up content, sharing stories and experiences resonating with audiences from different backgrounds. Eventually, he turned to acting and writing; his talents led to getting featured for big names, including Marlon Wayans, Damon Wayans, Jr., and David Spade. In 2019, he was a finalist on the NBC series “Stand Up” and has appeared in comedies including “50 Shades of Black” as well as on Amazon’s series “Laugh After Dark” and the documentary “Make America Laugh Again.”

Keon Polee, a comedian and actor from the California Bay Area, honed his comedy skills in San Francisco before moving to Los Angeles. Polee has been featured on television shows including “We Got Next” on AspireTV, “Laughs” on Fox, “Tony Baker and Friends” on Amazon Prime and “Laff Mob’s Laff Tracks” on TruTV. Polee has performed around the United States and made his way around the world performing in countries like South Korea, Japan and Canada.

Monday, May 19 through Sunday, May 25: Mike Merryfield featuring Dustin Chafin
Grammy Award-nominee Mike Merryfield started his comedy career nearly a decade ago as a doorman at a local comedy club. Known for keeping his sets refreshingly original, Merryfield has made a splash in the comedic world. Merryfield was the season three winner of Comcast’s “Trial by Laughter,” runner-up in the 37th Annual “San Francisco Comedy Competition” and was one of the original “Lucky 21” at the HBO Comedy Festival that aired on TBS. Merryfield also has two different hour-long comedy specials on SiriusXM and three albums on iTunes, with his first album, “Live at Loonies,” receiving a Grammy nomination. He can also be found making an appearance in the movie “A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the White House,” alongside Cedric the Entertainer and Mike Epps.
Born in a trailer in Texas with Choctaw ancestry, Dustin Chafin is both cowboy and Indian. With a background in boxing and working as a missionary in Chile, he found his true passion, bringing together his experience of peoples and their voices with the fight of the ring: stand-up. Ever since picking up the microphone, he has been featured throughout Chicago and Las Vegas comedy festivals, where he won the title of “Best of Fest”. He headlines regularly at premier New York City venues such as Caroline’s on Broadway, Comic Strip Live, Broadway Comedy Club, Dangerfields and Stand Up NY. He is the creator of “Uncensored Comedy,” a critically acclaimed show that runs weekends in New York City alongside a nationwide tour that is now a staple at the award-winning Greenwich Village Comedy Club. Chafin has also toured with the USO to perform for troops in Korea, Japan, Africa and Iraq. Dustin has also been a writer for the Syfy channel and many television shows, plus a producer for United Stations Radio and iHeart Radio. He also featured in an episode of “Crashing,” a new HBO series created by Judd Apatow.

Nikki Carr weaves her life experiences as a woman, lesbian, mother and grandmother into her hilarious stand-up routines. She has appeared on several TV shows and comedy specials, including BET’s “Comic View,” “One Mic Stand” with Kevin Hart, NBC’s “Last Comic Standing” and Martin Lawrence’s “1st Amendment Stand Up.” Her impressive resume also includes independent films like “Gold Digger Killer,” “Change the Game” and “Ass Backwards” with Alicia Silverstone and Jon Cryer. Carr has also taken her performances overseas, performing for troops at military bases in Kuwait and Iraq.
