Mijo Modern Mexican Upgrades Weekdays with New Happy Hour

 Mijo Modern Mexican Restaurant, CliQue Hospitality’s vibrant Mexican dining destination inside Durango Casino & Resort, is raising the bar on weekday indulgence with a new happy hour, available now. From 4 to 6 p.m. Monday through Thursday, guests can shake up weekday routines with a curated selection of signature margaritas, bold flavors, house wines and ice-cold brews, available exclusively at the bar and high-top tables. Designed to take the edge off the day, Mijo’s happy hour features handcrafted margaritas for just $10. Selections include the spicy mango margarita, made with Ancho Reyes chili liqueur, mango juice and agave, offering a balance of heat and sweetness with every sip; the bright and citrusy prickly pear margarita made with prickly pear and orange bitters; and the refreshing strawberry margarita with strawberry puree and apple bitters. For those that prefer wine and beer, glasses of white and red wines are available for $10, and an assortment of draft brews for $6. 

As no happy hour is complete without crave-worthy bites, Mijo’s happy hour menu delivers flavor-packed options to pair with the bold cocktails, each priced at $10. The crispy chicken taquitos, served with guacamole, cabbage, pico de gallo and crema, and the shrimp coctel, with cucumber, onion, cilantro and spicy tomato, are great choices for sharing. While the carne asada tostada, with charro beans, pico de gallo and cotija cheese, and street corn tostada, with grilled corn, creamy corn puree and smoky chipotle mayo, make for a mouthwatering meal. Also available are the TJ Caesar salad, a twist on the original topped with anchovies, crunchy pepitas, lime and crispy tortilla crumbs, and a classic chicken quesadilla filled with juicy chicken and melted Mexican cheeses.

Mijo Modern Mexican Restaurant is open from 4 to 10 p.m. Monday through Thursday; 4 to 11 p.m. on Friday; and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and 4 to 10 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
