CELEBRATE CINCO DE MAYO WITH LIVELY LIBATIONS AND VIBRANT CULINARY OFFERINGS AT MGM RESORTS INTERNATIONAL
MGM Resorts International is celebrating Cinco de Mayo with a collection of culinary offerings throughout the holiday weekend, featuring specialty menu items, exclusive cocktail pop-up events and live performances.
Bellagio Resort & Casino
Bellagio’s exclusive cocktail club, The Vault, will host a three-night-only cocktail pop-up during Cinco de Mayo weekend, May 3 – 5, in partnership with Tequila Casa Dragones. Two of Mexico’s most acclaimed bartenders – Ana Herrara of Handshake Speakeasy and José Luis León of Licorería Limantour – will craft unique specialty cocktails along with signature drinks from their award-winning bars. Tickets are $125 per guest and can be secured for the 7 p.m. or 9 p.m. sessions by visiting The Vault’s Instagram page.
MGM Grand Hotel & Casino
International Smoke from Chef Michael Mina and Ayesha Curry invites guests to indulge in a special Cinco de Mayo menu, May 3 – 5 from 5 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., with featured items such as Coconut Lime Shrimp Ceviche with chili, cilantro, avocado and onion; Grilled Sirloin Fajitas with onion, bell pepper, chili and cilantro; Tres Leches Cake with berries; and a Mayan Fiesta Margarita with tequila, Cointreau, lime and a salted rim.
Luxor Hotel and Casino
Chef Ricardo Sandoval’s south-of-the-border restaurant Diablo’s Cantina will offer a cocktail and cerveza special along with a three-course menu available May 3 – 5 from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. On Sunday, May 5 from 6 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. guests will enjoy a live Mariachi band and singing performance from Lorena Peril of FANTASY: The Strip’s Sexiest Tease. The menu includes Aguachile Shrimp Ceviche with citrus-cured shrimp, orange slices, cucumber, pickled onions, cilantro, red pepper and Tajin; Steak and Chicken Fajita Combo with onions, red and green peppers, squash, zucchini, pico de gallo, guacamole and crema served with flour tortillas; and a chocolate-filled churro with vanilla bean ice cream and berry compote for dessert.
