GameWorks Set for Grand Opening of New, Flagship Concept
at Town Square Las Vegas
Dining and entertainment destination will debut with new eSports Arena,
bowling lanes and specialty menus, Monday, July 28
GameWorks makes its highly anticipated return to Las Vegas with the grand opening of its next-generation flagship concept at Town Square Las Vegas (6587 S Las Vegas Blvd Ste 171 Las Vegas, NV 89119) on Monday, July 28.
Serving as the flagship location for major developments in the GameWorks brand, guests can look forward to a 7,000-square-foot arcade game floor, an eight-lane bowling alley and GameWorks’ first eSports Arena, in which both competitive video gaming and casual play will offer guests an array of digital entertainment options. Whether it’s the vibrant, custom artwork throughout the venue, the expansive horseshoe bar, the massive interactive video wall or the non-stop action on the arcade floor, GameWorks’ newest destination will be a visual spectacle offering something for every member of the family.
“Our new location will provide a completely new experience to Town Square Las Vegas visitors,” said GameWorks Las Vegas General Manager Steve Ely. “We want to create an immersive environment where our guests can come for the food and stay for the fun, or the other way around. This new location is really changing the face of Las Vegas entertainment.”
The GameWorks Las Vegas menu will feature inventive American cuisine, including a rotating selection of local favorites customized to the Las Vegas location. The 240-seat dining room will open into the Arcade floor and also offer guests the option for al fresco dining with a patio opening into one of Town Square’s interior plazas. Signature items set to debut on the local favorites menu include:
- Short Ribs, beer-braised in stout and served over wasabi mashed potatoes.
- Tequila Shrimp and Seafood Ceviche, made with tequila, fresh lemon and lime, onion and jalapeño, served with house made toast points.
- Chicken Fricassee, cast-iron fried chicken with coleslaw, a buttermilk biscuit and lavender honey.
- Triple Decker B.L.A.T.,triple-smoked bacon, fresh bibb lettuce, avocado and oven dried tomato with house made mayo
A devoted sports bar and lounge area with high-definition TVs will offer guests the chance to catch the hottest live events while enjoying cold beers and GameWorks delicious signature appetizers, such as Chicken Wings, Tex Mex Rolls and Burger Sliders. Guests will also enjoy great happy hour specials along with a selection of unique draft cocktails. The full GameWorks Las Vegas menu will be available in both the bar and dining room.
In addition to the delicious cuisine, GameWorks has created a menu of signature draft cocktails, made with their own house-specialty syrups. Perfect for happy hour, a night out with friends or a celebratory toast, the draft cocktail selection will include:
- The Radler, Stiegl Radler Grapefruit beer, Herradura silver tequila, hand-squeezed lime juice and fresh mint.
- Ultimate Orange Moscow Mule, Crabbie’s spiced orange alcoholic ginger beer, Russian Standard vodka, and hand-squeezed lime juice.
- Irish Mai Tai, Killian’s Irish Red beer, Bacardi Pineapple Fusion rum, Sammy’s Beach Bar “Red Head” rum, hand-squeezed lime juice and house-made grenadine.
- Rebellious Caipirinha, Sam Adams Rebel IPA, Leblon Cachaca, house-made syrup with freshly muddled orange and lime.
- Nuts & Berries, Rogue Hazelnut Brown Nectar beer, Grand Marnier No. 2, raspberry liqueur and freshly muddled blackberries.
Once the food is ordered and eaten, GameWorks will offer a truly one-of-a-kind entertainment experience that can be customized to each guest’s personal tastes. The arcade floor will feature everything from the classics – e.g. Pac-Man and Galaga – to the latest state-of-the-art prize redemption and arcade games. A variety of retail prizes will be available with a range from novelty toys to premium electronics, such as an Xbox. Those guests who will be frequent GameWorks visitors can take advantage of the popular GamePerks program, which offers rewards with every purchase on food, drinks and games.
The new eight-lane bowling alley will be available for everyday play and private events and feature a dedicated bar area, shoe rentals and a selection of bowling balls for guests to use during their time on the lanes. GameWorks Las Vegas guests can expect bowling specials as well as the option to order from the full dining and cocktail menus in the bowling alley.
The flagship eSports Arena will feature 80 high-powered personal computers designed to offer a premium gaming experience for die-hard competitors. GameWorks Las Vegas guests will have access to a variety of gaming programs, including hourly and half-day rates, along with membership options. The eSports Arena will host competitive eSports league play for local area network (LAN) multi-player online computer gaming on a regular basis.
