Winder Farms “Goes Pink” for Susan G. Komen for the Cure®
Winder Farms to donate a portion of the proceeds
from sales of all Strawberry Milk sold May 1 – Oct. 31, 2013
Winder Farms Strawberry Milk Labels to Feature Iconic Pink Ribbon
For the second year, Winder Farms, a premier grocery home delivery company in Southern Nevada, will “Go Pink” for Susan G. Komen for the Cure® by raising money and awareness for breast cancer screening, treatment programs and research. From May 1 through Oct. 31, 2013 (Breast Cancer Awareness Month), Winder Farms will donate a portion of the proceeds from one of its most popular flavored drinks – Strawberry Milk – to the local affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure®. Winder Farms Strawberry Milk bottles are also getting more “pink” as the company shows its commitment by changing the labels on 16 oz. and half-gallon bottle to once again feature the iconic Susan G. Komen for the Cure® pink ribbon.
“When Winder Farms began the Strawberry Milk Fundraiser last year the mission was simple – provide our customers with an easy and convenient way to support those affected by breast cancer,” said Ashley Vanderhoof, Marketing Director at Winder Farms. “There’s more work to be done, so we are bringing back this tasty initiative to help even more people in the community and once again, putting the iconic Susan G. Komen for the Cure® pink ribbon on the Strawberry Milk labels—serving as a reminder to our customers that each bottle brings a taste of hope to help find a cure.”
Winder Farms Strawberry Milk is one of the most popular flavored milks and is made with reduced fat milk. The Strawberry Milk, as with all Winder Farms signature products, comes from cows not treated with artificial growth hormones or antibiotics.
