Wild Fig BBQ To Donate 100% Of October Profits To Hurricane Helene Victims
Wild Fig BBQ & Catering has announced they will donate 100% of their profits for the month of October 2024 to victims of Hurricane Helene.
“Prior to Las Vegas, I lived in the Carolinas and was an avid cyclist and grew to love and become very familiar with Skyuka mountain in Polk County, NC,” explains founder and pitmaster Steve Cook. “This area is very sparsely populated but has received some of the worst devastation from Helene. Seeing the devastation of the area and the communities I still have a great affection for during last week’s storm has absolutely gutted me. The people of Appalachia are some the kindest and most giving people I’ve ever met and in need of any support they can get to help rebuild.”
Wild Fig will be directing proceeds directly to the Polk County Community Foundation.
