The band will play their entire first album from start to finish alongside special guests Death Angel and Unto Others
Heavy metal rockers W.A.S.P. are embarking on their “Album ONE Alive!” North American tour celebrating the 40th anniversary of their self-titled debut album. The band will be making a stop at Brooklyn Bowl Las Vegas on Dec. 12, and will be performing the album in its entirety for the first time in 40 years.
Widely regarded as a central piece of the 80s metal scene, W.A.S.P first brought their universally acclaimed classic album to life in 1982. “It was an angry record made by an angry band,” said lead vocalist Blackie Lawless. “It was a record that not only reflected the attitude of the band members who made it, but also a record that reflected its time.”
Lawless will be joined by bassist Mike Duda, lead guitarist Doug Blair and long-time drummer Aquiles Priester.
Tickets to W.A.S.P. go on sale Friday, May 31 at 10 a.m. PST. Artist presales begin Wednesday, May 29 at 10 a.m. PST with KNOTFEST, Blabbermouth and BraveWords presales taking place the following day on May 30 at 11 a.m. PST.
