Virgin Hotels Las Vegas Celebrates St. Patrick’s Day with Traditional Fare and Festive Offerings

 

VIRGIN HOTELS LAS VEGAS CELEBRATES ST. PATRICK’S DAY WITH TRADITIONAL FARE AND FESTIVE OFFERINGS

 

Virgin Hotels Las Vegas, part of Curio Collection by Hilton, will celebrate St. Patrick’s Day this year with an authentic Irish pop-up from Guinness and Baileys, in addition to dining specials offered at the array of award-winning restaurants.

 

Raise a glass as 24 Oxford, Virgin Hotels Las Vegas’ signature speakeasy-style entertainment venue, will transform into an authentic Irish pub from March 12 – 17. The Guinness and Baileys sponsored activation will feature nightly Irish-themed entertainment and drink specials crafted with Guinness, Smithwick’s Irish Ale and Harp & Kilkenny Irish Crème. The pub will be open from 5 p.m. – 1 a.m. on March 12 – 13, 5 p.m. – midnight on March 14 – 16 and noon – midnight on St. Patrick’s Day, March 17. Guests must be 21 or older.

 

Guests are invited to gather in the sexy and sophisticated Shag Room on March 13 for St. Practice Day presented by Proper No. Twelve Irish Whiskey.  The tasting event takes place from 10 p.m. – midnight and features live entertainment. Doors open at 8 p.m. On March 17, St. Patty’s Day, the tasting continues, presented by Proper No. Twelve Irish Whiskey from 8 – 10 p.m. and live entertainment featuring The Wobblers from 8 p.m. to midnight.

 

A selection of restaurants from Virgin Hotels Las Vegas’ award-winning culinary collection will offer dining specials to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day. Reservations can be made online at www.virginhotelslv.com.

  • Casa Calavera, offering traditional Mexican cuisine from the iconic Tao Group, will present a variety of special menu items, including corned beef empanadas with caramelized onion, cabbage and poblano cream ($18), torta corned beef with aji verde cabbage slaw, charred onion and yuka fries ($19) and churros verde with caramel filling, green sugar and green crème anglaise ($12). Guests 21 and over can toast to good luck with the shamrock shooter with Jameson Irish whiskey, Irish cream and melon liquor ($10) and Irish maid, crafted with Jameson Irish whiskey, cucumber, lemon juice, simple syrup and St. Germain elderflower syrup ($15). The dining and cocktail specials will be available exclusively on St. Patrick’s Day, Thursday, March 17.

 

  • From acclaimed restauranteurs David Morton and Michael Morton, ONE Steakhouse will celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with a traditional Irish dinner, featuring beef brisket served alongside potatoes ($34). Guests can also enjoy the get lucky cocktail, made with Jameson Irish Whiskey, Domaine de Canton ginger liqueur and fresh lemon juice, and garnished with candied ginger ($16). The specials will be available March 17 – 20.

 

  • Virgin Hotels Las Vegas’ signature Kitchen at Commons Club will offer guests a special holiday menu, available all day on St. Patrick’s Day, Thursday, March 17. Feast on the corned beef hash skillet, served with two sunny side up eggs, potatoes, cabbage and caramelized onions ($18). For dessert, guests will enjoy the Irish car bomb chocolate cake, made of warm Guinness chocolate cake, Baileys ice cream and topped with Jameson caramel sauce ($12).
