VEGAS WEDDING CHAMBER’S INAUGURAL WEDDING DRESS DESIGN OF THE YEAR CONTEST OPEN NOW THROUGH SATURDAY, AUG. 24
Winning Dress to be Displayed at Sept. 28 Las Vegas Wedding Club Event, Inside Harry Reid International Airport
The Vegas Wedding Chamber announces its inaugural Wedding Dress Design of the Year contest, an exciting opportunity for both established and emerging designers to showcase their creativity and craftsmanship in The Wedding Capital of the World™. Following a public voting period, the contest will recognize one exquisite wedding dress that embodies innovation, elegance and the spirit of Las Vegas weddings. The winning gown will be prominently displayed at an upcoming Las Vegas Wedding Club celebration on Sept. 28 as well as inside Harry Reid International Airport.
Designers are invited to submit their wedding dress concepts in various formats, including photos, videos or sketches, by Saturday, Aug. 24. Each designer is allowed one submission, and designs must be created in a size 8 format suitable for display on a mannequin. Detailed submission information, including designer credentials and purchase availability, is required.
The selection committee, comprising members of the Vegas Wedding Chamber, will choose five standout designs, including a student design, a member design and three commercial designs available within Clark County. The winners will be contacted by Saturday, Aug. 31. The selected dresses must be delivered to Clark County by Friday, Sept. 13 in coordination with a Vegas Wedding Chamber representative.
The chosen designs will be exhibited at the County Rotunda, located at 500 S Grand Central Pkwy, Las Vegas, NV 89155, from Monday, Sept. 16 through Thursday, Sept. 26. Each design will be accompanied by a stanchion providing designer information and a QR code to direct visitors to social media for voting. Public voting will occur on Instagram and TikTok by commenting on posts from the @vegasweddingcapital accounts during the display period.
The winning design, determined by the highest number of votes, will be announced following the conclusion of voting and will be prominently displayed at the Las Vegas Wedding Club’s “Magic of Marriage” event on Sunday, Sept. 28 at The Composers Room inside the Historic Commercial Center.
The Wedding Dress Design of the Year will not only gain widespread recognition but will also be featured inside Harry Reid International Airport, providing unmatched exposure to the designer.
