Vegas Wedding Chamber Announces Annual “Vegas Marries the Military”: A Giant Act of Love and Appreciation
The esteemed Vegas Wedding Chamber is proud to announce “Vegas Marries the Military,” their annual community outreach initiative. By providing brave soldiers an ideal Vegas wedding, this annual event gives free ceremonies and receptions to deserving US military personnel and veterans. Las Vegas wedding professionals will offer their time, goods and services to worthy active and retired US military. This year, the chamber is expanding eligibility to include first responders in honor of their vital role in our communities.
Between Thursday, Aug. 8, and Saturday, Aug. 24, applicants can submit a photo, answer a few questions about their service and tell their love story at VegasMarriesTheMilitary.com. Up to eight deserving couples will be selected. The winners, who will represent military branches and first responders, will receive free weddings or vow renewals on Thursday, Nov. 7. Couples can also enjoy a two-night hotel stay on the Las Vegas Strip. A joint reception will round out this joyous occasion during the evening of Nov. 7, bringing together the newlyweds and up to 10 guests per couple for an evening of celebration complete with a buffet dinner, wedding cake, DJ, photographer, videographer and more. In addition to these heroes, notable Nevadans and guests of honor will be present to pay tribute to them.
The wedding industry hosts this event in the Wedding Capital of the World™ during Veterans Day week to honor these heroes for their service. The event symbolizes the convergence of love and duty and is the wedding industry’s way of thanking these heroes with a wedding of a lifetime they otherwise couldn’t afford.
