The action-packed film with a purpose, “Vegas Traffic,” is set to have its third screening in Las Vegas, bringing the intense and heart-wrenching story of child trafficking to the big screen. Spearheaded by visionary writer and director Joseph Charafi, the film profoundly impacts movie-making and the community. Open to the public, the screening will be held on Saturday, March 1 at 5 p.m. (doors open at 4:30 p.m.) at Notoriety (Neonopolis at 450 Fremont St., third floor in DTLV) Tickets are $10 per person and are available through the Notoriety website. The movie is followed by a 30-minute panel discussion and cocktail hour with the filmmakers, local agencies, and organizations dedicated to raising awareness about child trafficking.
“Vegas Traffic” is a gripping action/drama that follows two determined detectives as they race against time to rescue a kidnapped girl. Their investigation uncovers a dangerous child trafficking ring operating in the shadows of Las Vegas, forcing them to risk everything to bring justice to the innocent. Inspired by real-world events, this powerful film sheds light on a critical issue while delivering intense action, suspense, and heart.
Joining Charafi in this noble endeavor is producer, Trenton Brisco. Inspired by the compelling film “Sound of Freedom,” Brisco reached out to Charafi, determined to bring this crucial story to life. Together, with actor and producer John Molinaro, who took on both a leading role and producer, they have formed a powerful trio committed to creating change. In an extraordinary show of community support, around 200 local Las Vegas creatives donated their time and skills to this project, united by a shared desire to make a difference. Their collective efforts have resulted in an action-packed drama that keeps audience members on the edge of their seats while shedding light on the dark realities of child trafficking, aiming to inspire action and awareness.
Past sponsors include Chateau de Christo and Briscotown. Sponsors are needed to support bringing “Vegas Traffic” to theaters nationwide, partnering with Charafi, Brisco, and Molinaro on their mission to ensure that KIDS ARE NOT FOR SALE.
