Vegas Baby Vodka vice president, Sam Richardson, and Ariana Frayer, creator of Cup of OJ blog and Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) Nevada Chapter board member, will co-host JDRF Nevada’s “Type 1 Talk” weekly meeting on Zoom and Facebook Live at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, July 1.

Richardson and Frayer will co-host the virtual happy hour to connect with the JDRF community and Nevadans, sharing tips for making easy, low-carbohydrate recipes. The duo plans to create the Low Carb Lavender Lemonade, incorporating ingredients many people have at home. The recipe is as follows:

Low Carb Lavender Lemonade:
1.5 oz. Vegas Baby Vodka
2 oz. Fresh Squeezed Lemon Juice
2 oz. Stevia Simple Syrup
3 – 4 Dashes of Lavender Bitters
Lemon slice for garnish
Lavender sprig for garnish

Combine all ingredients and shake with ice. Garnish with lemon slice and lavender sprig.
