Up to $250,000 On the Line at BPONG.COM’s “Masters of Beer Pong™” Tournament
BPONG.COM, the creators of The World Series of Beer Pong®, are heating things up this summer with the largest beer pong tournament to date – Masters of Beer Pong™! BPONG.COM will host the most skilled beer pong players from around the world July 1st-3rd inside The Joint at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, as they compete to crown the true masters of the sport.
With up to $250,000 in cash on the line, dependent on the number of players entered, the competition is sure to be fierce. Tournament organizers expect to draw record numbers at this inaugural event, including players from at least 48 U.S. states and over a dozen countries.
For those familiar with the world of high stakes beer pong, the Masters of Beer Pong™ tournament rules will be the same as those used at the World Series of Beer Pong® (WSOBP®). These rules allow for playing with beer, water or another liquid. During play, two-person teams stand at opposite ends of an 8-foot-long BPONG® table, where ten 16-ounce BPONGTM cups, filled with roughly 4 ounces of beer or another liquid, are placed in a bowling-pin formation. Each team takes turns tossing beer pong balls (similar to table tennis balls) at their opponent’s cup formation. If a ball goes into a cup, the cup is removed from the game. The first team to eliminate all of its opponent’s cups wins.
Interested players will want to sign up for the tournament as soon as possible to take advantage of the lowest entry fee before ticket prices increase. The first 250 male players can register online now for as little as $250. The first 50 female players can enter for only $50. Final registration deadline is June 10th, 2013.
