MICHAEL COLL RESIGNS AS UNLV WOMEN’S HEAD SOCCER

Michael Coll has resigned as head women’s soccer coach at UNLV to take over the head coach position at UNC Greensboro, the UNLV athletic department announced on Tuesday.

Coll leaves after two years as the Rebels’ head coach, and posted a 22-12-7 overall record. That included an 12-4-4 mark his first season, and UNLV qualified for the Mountain West tournament both years under Coll.

“Michael is leaving our women’s soccer program in great shape: a Team GPA of 3.46, a winning season and an APR score of 982,” said Dr. Lisa Kelleher,Associate Athletic Director/SWA at UNLV. “We wish Michael well in his future endeavor.”

Current assistant coach Mark Carr will serve as interim coach during UNLV’s spring schedule, which starts with its first game on March 15.
