UNLV WOMEN’S BASKETBALL NEWS: Lady Rebels Looking To Win At New Mexico For 5th Straight Year

UNLV WOMEN’S BASKETBALL ON THE ROAD AT NEW MEXICO ON WEDNESDAY

Lady Rebels have won four straight on the Lobos’ home court

Coming off a thrilling two-point home victory over Utah State this past Saturday, the UNLV women’s basketball team hopes to take that winning momentum on the road as it takes on the New Mexico Lobos on Wednesday night in Albuquerque, with the game tipping off at 6 pm (PT). The Lady Rebels are looking for a third straight regular season sweep of the Lobos, as they have came away from the Pit the past four years with a victory.

The biggest factor in the game could be how New Mexico handles defensive pressure from UNLV, as the Lady Rebels forced 22 turnovers and came up with a season-high 17 steals in the victory. UNLV is near the top of the Mountain West in steals per game while the Lobos are second to last in turnover margin in MW play.

A win would give UNLV a 4-3 road record in conference play. Currently only team other teams have winning road records in MW action, Colorado State and Boise State.

There will be live video of the game featured on the Mountain West Network at UNLVRebels.com. while the UNLV radio broadcast, featuring the call of Adam Candee, is available on KSHP 1400 AM and also off a link at UNLVRebels.com.
