Lady Rebels Playing For Top-Three Seed Friday…
There is plenty at stake in the regular season finale for the Lady Rebels on Friday against Fresno State. Though UNLV has no seniors this year, and thus no Senior Night, that doesn’t take away from the importance of the game as the Lady Rebels can clinch a top-three seed if they claim a win over the Bulldogs, and can even finish second if Wyoming drops its road contest at San Jose State. A loss however sends UNLV into the fourth-seed for next week’s MW Championships.
Both UNLV and Fresno State will be wearing mismatched socks Friday as part of “Misfit MARCH Madness”, a program with the purpose of spreading the message to stand up against bullying. All fans are encouraged to do the same to show their support for the cause.
Friday’s game tips off at 6 pm in the Cox Pavilion, and can be watched on the Mountain West Network at UNLVRebels.com, while the radio broadcast featuring Adam Candee will be available on KSHP 1400 AM and online as well.
