UNLV WOMEN’S BASKETBALL LOOKS FOR SEASON SWEEP OF COLORADO STATE WITH ROAD CONTEST WEDNESDAY
Lady Rebels have not won in Fort Collins since the 2008 season
The UNLV women’s basketball team plays a second straight road game on Wednesday at Colorado State, and the Lady Rebels are hoping that this contest goes better then the first game of the trip, a loss at league-leader San Diego State. The game will start at 6 pm (PT), and Adam Candee will handle the UNLV radio broadcast, heard live in Las Vegas on KSHP 1400 AM and online at UNLVRebels.com. A live video feed of the game is also available at CSURams.com.
Though UNLV won the first meeting between the schools this year and has won three of the past four games, it has not claimed a win in Fort Collins since Feb. 9, 2008. Since then the Rams have won four straight against the Lady Rebels on their home court. A Colorado State win would bring the Rams within half a game of UNLV in the league standings, while a Lady Rebel win would give them their first sweep of the Rams since that 2008 season.
