UNLV WOMEN’S BASKETBALL AT FIRST PLACE COLORADO STATE WEDNESDAY
Lady Rebels looking for first win in Fort Collins since 2008
The UNLV women’s basketball team will be looking to pull off the upset on Wednesday night, as it travels to Fort Collins to face the first-place Colorado State Rams at 6 pm (PT) in Moby Arena. CSU is perfect at home this year in league play at 7-0, but are coming off its worst MW loss of the season, 75-49 at Wyoming. UNLV also enters the game off a loss after dropping a 75-72 home contest to second place Boise State.
The Lady Rebels are currently tied for sixth place along with San Diego State at 7-7 in league play. Though UNLV does have the tiebreaker at the moment due to its home win over the Aztecs on Jan. 18, the Lady Rebels will have to play at SDSU next week, on March 4. Both teams have two home games and two away games to finish the season, with SDSU playing at San Jose State on Wednesday.
