UNLV SWIMMING AND DIVING TAKES ON UC SANTA BARBARA ON SATURDAY
The UNLV men’s and women’s swimming and diving teams will compete for the first time in almost two months with a road dual meet on Saturday, against UC Santa Barbara at 10 am. That concludes a week-long training trip for the Rebels in California.
Rebel Women Highlights
• Katelyne Herrington currently holds the top time in the MW in the 100 fly in 52.71, which also ranks 16th in the nation.
Rebel Men Highlights
• The Rebels are ranked 23rd in the latest CSCAA poll, their highest ranking of the year.
• Six Rebels currently hold the top times in their events in the WAC, while UNLV also has three national top-16 relays as well. Leading the way is sophomore Dillon Virva, who holds the second fastest 50 free time in the nation this season at 19.37.
Next Time Out
The Rebels will have a quad-dual meet at home on Saturday, Jan. 25, as they host Air Force, Bakersfield and Denver at 12 pm in the Cox Pavilion.
