UNLV REBEL HOCKEY ready to drop the puck for 2024-2025 season
The 2024-25 season to begin Oct. 5 and will feature matchups against Oregon, University of Colorado-Boulder, Colorado College, and D1 National Champions, University of Denver
Specialty nights to include $2 Beer Nights, Hockey Fights Cancer, Military Appreciation Night, First Responders Night, and more
The Skatin’ Rebels are back and ready to drop the puck for their highly-anticipated 2024-2025 season! Following another successful season and postseason run, UNLV REBEL HOCKEY will once again hit the ice at City National Arena in Downtown Summerlin in Las Vegas for 16 home games, beginning Friday, October 11, 2024 against the University of Oregon.
UNLV REBEL HOCKEY will once again be joining the Western College Hockey League (WCHL) for the 2024-2025 season, with the opportunity to play for a conference championship and compete for an automatic bid to the ACHA D-1 National Championship Tournament for the first time in program history. UNLV’s schedule includes home matchups against rivals University of Oregon (Oct. 11-12), University of Colorado-Boulder (Nov. 1-2), University of Utah (Nov. 14-15), and San Diego State University (Jan. 23-24), as well as road matchups against defending NCAA D1 Champions University of Denver (Dec. 28) and NCAA D1’s Colorado College (Dec. 29).

ABOUT UNLV REBEL HOCKEY
Founded in 2005, UNLV REBEL HOCKEY is part of the American Collegiate Hockey Association – Men’s Division 1 and member of the Western College Hockey League (WCHL). Helmed by Head Coach Anthony V. Greener and Assistant Coach Nick Robone, UNLV REBEL HOCKEY’s roster features student athletes from around the world, who must meet all ACHA requirements and maintain a cumulative GPA of at least 2.5. The team is a self-funded, non-profit hockey organization that operates through player dues and continual fundraising programs. Ticket sales and joint promotional ventures with local organizations also significantly contribute to the operating costs of the organization.
