Details: Local soccer fans are invited to witness Las Vegas’ hometown UNLV Rebels Men’s Soccer team go head-to-head against the Colorado Rapids Reserves during an electrifying exhibition matchup. The match will be held as part of the second annual Las Vegas ProSoccer Challenge, which features a headlining matchup between Major League Soccer teams Colorado Rapids and Chivas USA at Sam Boyd Stadium on Sunday, Feb. 16 at 7:30 p.m.
About Colorado Rapids
Established in October of 1995, the Colorado Rapids is one of the original charter teams to launch Major League Soccer in the inaugural 1996 season. The club has appeared in two MLS Cup Championship matches and won their first title by claiming MLS Cup 2010 with a 2-1 overtime victory over FC Dallas on November 21, 2010 at Toronto’s BMO Field.
