UNLV MEN’S SOCCER OPEN 2018 SEASON FRIDAY AGAINST FAU

Rebels will also face Evansville on Sunday with both games taking place in Utah

For the eighth straight year, UNLV men’s soccer will play its opening games of the season away from Las Vegas, as the Rebels will take on Florida Atlantic on Friday (3 pm) and Evansville on Sunday (9:30 am). Both games will be played at Clyde Field, home facility for conference rival Utah Valley in Orem, Utah. UNLV won its opener last year in dramatic fashion, when Daniel Moran headed in a midfield pass in the final seconds of double-overtime for a 3-2 victory at No. 15 Portland on Aug. 25.

Both games this weekend will have a live video feed, as well as live game stats, all available at UNLVRebels.com.

The Owls, who are picked to finish ninth in C-USA this season after posting just two wins a year ago, will be meeting the Rebels for just the second time. Evansville, selected seventh in the Missouri Valley, last faced UNLV on the field in 2002.
