#WEARWHITE FOR SENIOR DAY SATURDAY

White Out scheduled for UNLV men’s basketball’s final regular-season home game vs. Fresno St. at 3 p.m.; UNLV has won five straight games overall and six of last seven, 14 straight at Thomas & Mack Center

The UNLV men’s basketball team, winner of five straight and six of its last seven games, will host Fresno State on Saturday, March 9, at 3 p.m. at the Thomas & Mack Center in its final regular-season game of the year.

It is Senior Day and all fans are asked to wear white for a White Out, which has become a tradition on Senior Day at UNLV. The first 5,000 fans will receive free White Out t-shirts. Tickets are available and start at just $20 in advance (UNLVtickets.com or 702-739-FANS).

Fans are also asked to come early as UNLV’s three seniors – Anthony Marshall, Justin Hawkins and Quintrell Thomas – will be honored prior to the game.

The Runnin’ Rebels, who will be going for their 99th win in the past four seasons on Saturday, are 16-1 at the Thomas & Mack Center this season and own a 14-game winning streak in the building. In addition, the Runnin’ Rebels are 34-1 in their last 35 regular-season games at the TMC and have won 16 straight regular-season home games against Mountain West foes.

Saturday’s game will be televised by Time Warner Cable SportsNet with Ari Wolfe and Dave Bollwinkel calling the action. Jon Sandler and Robert Smith will handle the UNLV radio call, which may be heard live in Las Vegas on ESPN Radio 1100 AM/98.9 FM and online at UNLVRebels.com through the subscription-based All-Access feature.

UNLV lost at Fresno State, 64-55, earlier this year on Feb. 6, but leads the all-time series with the Bulldogs 27-7, including 14-0 in home games.
