2014 COACHES VS. CANCER® CLASSIC CHAMPIONSHIP ROUND MATCHUPS SET
The UNLV men’s basketball team will face Stanford on Nov. 21 in Brooklyn, then either Duke or Temple on Nov. 22 with all four games televised on truTV
The matchups for the championship round of the 2014 Coaches vs. Cancer® Classic in Brooklyn, N.Y., were announced on Wednesday morning by the National Association of Basketball Coaches and the American Cancer Society®.
On Friday, Nov. 21, at Barclays Center, the UNLV men’s basketball team will take on Stanford at 7 p.m. ET, followed immediately by Duke vs. Temple. On Saturday, Nov. 22, the consolation game will tip off at 7 p.m. ET, followed by the championship game. All four games will be exclusively televised live on truTV, a part of the Turner Broadcasting System.
The Coaches vs. Cancer Classic is an annual basketball event hosted by the Coaches vs. Cancer program, which is a nationwide collaboration between the American Cancer Society and the National Association of Basketball Coaches. The event will benefit the American Cancer Society to support its mission to save more lives and help finish the fight against cancer.
