As the new Rebels Relive History series continues, UNLV fans can enjoy arguably the biggest moment of the past year for the athletics department this Friday, April 10, at 3 p.m. PT on the Runnin’ Rebels’ YouTube channel.
UNLV men’s basketball student-athletes Marvin Coleman and David Jenkins Jr., will be joined by former Runnin’ Rebel and current radio analyst Curtis Terry, as the trio takes part in the live program. Watching an approximately hour-long version of this season’s upset win over No. 4 San Diego State, they will provide comments, share their memories and take questions from fans.
Fans who would like to ask questions in advance, can do so at @TheRunninRebels on Twitter or @runninrebels on Instagram.
The 66-63 Runnin’ Rebel victory on Feb. 22 in San Diego ended the Aztecs’ bid at a perfect season, dropping their record to 26-1 at the time. At No. 4 in the country, SDSU was the highest-ranked opponent that UNLV has defeated on the road in 29 years. It was also the highest-ranked team overall that UNLV had beaten in five seasons.
