With Clark County School District (CCSD) students off of school on Friday, Oct. 28, families are invited to enjoy a spectacular day of adventure along the Black Canyon National Water Trail on the majestic Colorado River. Both tours feature up-close photo opportunities at the base of the Hoover Dam, rides aboard LMMA’s motor-assisted inflatable rafts and expert guides sharing their knowledge of the geography and local fauna, including the desert bighorn sheep, osprey and great blue heron.

Hoover Dam Raft Tour: This day trip experience includes stops along the iconic shore below Hoover Dam where guests can relax among the clear and calm waters of the Colorado River. Guests will begin their journey at Lake Mead RV Village for check in at 9:30 a.m. before embarking on an adventure-packed three-hour rafting tour. While rafting along the Colorado River, guests will receive a lunch, including a turkey wrap, chips, a fruit cup, a cookie and water or a special meal catered by request. Visitors will end their rafting journey at Willow Beach Marina & Campground where they’ll board air-conditioned tour buses for the return trip over the Mike O’Callaghan Pat Tillman Memorial Bridge back to Lake Mead RV Village. Hoover Dam Postcard Raft Tour: For visitors who have limited time to spend on the water, the Hoover Dam Postcard Raft Tour offers an expedited experience of the Hoover Dam and Colorado River. Guests begin their journey at the Hoover Dam Lodge in Boulder City, Nevada, for check in at 10:30 a.m. before embarking on a one and a half hour journey along the Colorado River. Guests will enjoy up-close views of the Mike O’Callaghan Pat Tillman Memorial Bridge while rafting along the Colorado River at the base of the Hoover Dam before boarding tour buses back to the Hoover Dam Lodge. Snacks and beverages are included. Regularly priced at $236 for two adults and two children, a four-pack for this tour will be available for $186.40 for Nevada Day only.
