WOMEN’S BASKETBALL HOSTS FREE EXHIBITION CONTEST OCT. 29
Lady Rebels and Point Loma will tip off at 6:30 p.m. at Cox Pavilion
The three-time defending Mountain West champions UNLV women’s basketball will play its only exhibition contest of the 2024-25 campaign on Tuesday, Oct. 29 hosting Point Loma. Tip-off is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. at the Cox Pavilion. UNLV is receiving votes one of two major top 25 preseason polls for the second consecutive year.
The Lady Rebels have been picked No. 1 in the league to win a fourth consecutive conference championship during the 2024-25 season at the MW media day.
Individually, UNLV received three preseason accolades at the event at Resorts World in Las Vegas with senior forward Alyssa Brown, senior guard Kiara Jackson and sophomore guard Amarachi Kimpson were all selected to the Preseason All-MW Team.
Head Coach Lindy La Rocque has also been recognized this preseason as one of 20 coaches nationally to be selected to the 2025 Kathy Delaney-Smith Mid-Major Coach of the Year watch list. La Rocque was one of five finalists for the awards inaugural season in 2024.
HOME OPENER/SEASON OPENER SET FOR NOV. 4
UNLV will open the 2024-25 season hosting LMU on Monday, Nov. 4. The 6:30 p.m. game will be played at Cox Pavilion and tickets may be purchased by clicking here.
