Here’s What’s New and What’s Happened While You Were Shopping

 

 Meow Wolf’s immersive art exhibition, Omega Mart, welcomed curious Earthicans for the first time February 18, 2021. Now it’s time to celebrate two years of 52,000 square feet of mind-bending grocery shopping and art-filled landscapes created by more than 300 artists. Here’s what’s happened since the first Boops were booped.

 

Notable Milestones from the Omegaverse:

-While maybe not something that even existed during previous visits, Mega Art Zone is a floor-to-ceiling graffitied spot that tells Dramcorp’s biggest secrets, and even features a few favorite “Easter eggs.” Adjacent to the box office, the first expansion since opening deepens the existing Omega Mart narrative while showcasing the talents of more than 40 local Las Vegas artists, including two functioning vending machines filled with mini art available for purchase. The new space features a fond nod to late Co-founder Matt King whose creative touch helped create Omega Mart and all our worlds.

 

-They like us! They really like us! Our crowd fave “Employee Training Video” won for “Short Films Under 15 Minutes” category and “Into the Source [Triptych]” won the award for “Best Hair and Make-up” at the Las Vegas Film and Screenwriting Festival

 

-#1 on the list of Vital Vegas’ “15 Las Vegas Attractions You Have to Do in 2022.” Called “… easily the best non-gambling thing to do in Las Vegas.”

 

And, finally… two new as we turn two:

-Shoppers can now commemorate their visit with a new, soon-to-be-coveted Collector Ticket featuring unreal 3D graphics and effects.

 

-Just in time for 730 days of operation Omega Mart launched the VIP Package ($99 tax incl.) includes 1 admission, a Collector Ticket and lanyard, a drink at Datamosh, Collector’s Pin and 15% off a Purchase of $50 or more at the Meow Wolf Gift Shop.

 

“America’s Most Exceptional Grocery Store is turning two and we’re just getting started. So many exciting things have happened and are on the horizon, from our new Collector Tickets and VIP Package to new experiences that will soon be coming down the aisle,” enthused General Manager Jeff Lund. “I mean, it’s really true that ‘You have no idea what’s in-store for you’. Stay tuned.”
