The Las Vegas Aviators® professional baseball team of the Pacific Coast League, Triple-A affiliate of the Oakland Athletics, will host the Round Rock Express, Triple-A affiliate of the 2023 World Series Champion Texas Rangers, in the opener of the six-game series on Tuesday, September 3 at 7:05 p.m. at Las Vegas Ballpark®. The 11th homestand will consist of six games from Tuesday-Sunday, September 3-8 and all games will begin at 7:05 p.m. except for the series finale on Sunday at 6:05 p.m.
The games on Thursday and Saturday, September 5 and 7 will be broadcast on The Silver State Sports & Entertainment Network (SSSEN) on channel 5.2 and on Cox cable channel 125.
The Aviators, under manager Fran Riordan, are currently on a season-long 12-game road trip. The trip began in Reno (August 20-25) and the six-game series against the Sacramento River Cats, Triple-A affiliate of the San Francisco Giants, will conclude on Sunday, September 1.
The 2024 season will feature six-game series against opponents from Tuesday-Sunday and off days on Monday for a total of 149 games (75-home; 74-away).
The Aviators are in their 41st season (42nd calendar season) in the Silver State and have the proud distinction of being Nevada’s longest enduring professional sports franchise.
PACIFIC COAST LEAGUE: The Pacific Coast League (120 years, 1903-2020, 2022 -) will consist of two divisions for a total of 10 teams. Western Division: Las Vegas Aviators, Reno Aces, Sacramento River Cats, Salt Lake Bees, Tacoma Rainiers; Eastern Division: Albuquerque Isotopes, El Paso Chihuahuas, Oklahoma City Baseball Club, Round Rock Express, Sugar Land Space Cowboys.

PASEO VERDE LITTLE LEAGUE, HENDERSON AT LAS VEGAS BALLPARK ON FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 6:
Paseo Verde, Henderson Little League Team (the Mountain Region champion) and 2024 Little League World Series participant will be in attendance for the “Little League Runout” with the Aviators players prior to the game on Friday, September 6!
Adam Johnson, Paseo Verde Manager, is also the Las Vegas Raiders assistant equipment manager.
Paseo Verde finished the tournament with a 2-2 record. Paseo Verde defeated Staten Island (New York), 9-1 on August 15; defeated Central East Maui, 3-2 on August 19; lost to Boerne (Texas), 5-2 on August 21; lost to Lake Mary (Florida), 6-3 on August 22.
Lake Mary, Florida captured the U.S. Championship: defeated Boerne, 10-7 on August 24 and then captured the Championship game, defeated Chinese Taipei, 2-1, on August 25.
