Triple George Grill Invites Patrons to Enjoy a Few of Their
“Favorite Things” with a Special The Sound of Music Dinner Menu
Rodgers & Hammerstein’s hit Broadway musical comes
to The Smith Center for the Performing Arts August 2-14
Triple George Grill will debut a new The Sound of Music menu in honor of the smash hit Broadway musical’s run at The Smith Center for the Performing Arts, located just steps away. The special a la carte menu will be available August 2-14, 2016.
Act One menu items consist of German Navy soup with navy bean and ham, and The Lonely Goatherd featuring kale, goat cheese, candied pecans, and maple vinaigrette.
Act Two menu items consist of An Ordinary Couple tuna and beef tartar duo, and Something Good featuring braised short rib ravioli, buerre blanc, and bordelaise.
For the main course, guests can enjoy My Favorite Things an 8 oz. flat iron steak with crab meat, béarnaise, mashed potatoes and asparagus; Von Tropp wiener schnitzel with spätzle, and bacon mushroom gravy; or Eidelweiss, a pan seared halibut with orange buerre blanc, carrot purée, wild rice, and flower.
And for the final curtain call, dessert menu will consist of Finale Ultimo chocolate lava cake and vanilla ice cream with coconut brittle, and Do Re Mi pink champagne, lemon, and raspberry sorbet.
The Sound of Music specialty a la carte menu is available daily for dinner from 4 to 10 p.m. Triple George also offers a full a la carte menu of classic dishes featuring American-style seafood, steaks, chops, pasta and more.
