In honor of National Golf Month in August, Shriners Hospitals for Children Open is celebrating with the top five reasons to attend Las Vegas’ PGA TOUR event Oct. 2-6 at TPC Summerlin.
- Volunteer Opportunities
Volunteers will perform many tasks required to conduct a successful PGA TOUR event. Volunteer opportunities during the tournament include standard bearers, caddie services, admissions, walking scorers, shotlink operators and many more. Experience in golf and knowledge of the game is not required to volunteer. Volunteer registration is $75. This fee helps to defray the tournament’s cost associated with each volunteer. The event is operated as a 501©3 charity and every available dollar is dedicated to raising awareness and money for the Shriners Hospitals for Children. - Free tickets for UNLV students
UNLV students can receive free tickets to the tournament grounds with valid UNLV student ID. To redeem, fans must show valid ID at the tournament ticket trailer at TPC Summerlin’s main entrance.
- Complimentary tickets to fans 18 years and younger
Fans 18 years and younger will receive complimentary admission to the tournament grounds when accompanied with an adult.
- Patriots’ Outpost
Police, fire, EMT and active and retired military personnel will receive complimentary entrance to the 2019 Shriners Hospitals for Children Open. This vast, 10,000 square-foot pavilion offers guests unbeatable views of the dramatic final 16th, 17th and 18th holes of the course and tickets start at $35 per day.
