Tom Petty Memorabilia Case at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Las Vegas

Rock legend Tom Petty, best known as the frontman of Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, bandmate in the Traveling Wilburys and successful solo artist, passed away yesterday, Oct. 2, 2017. Petty’s last performance at The Joint inside Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Las Vegas was in August of 2005. The singer and songwriter also rocked The Joint in August 1999 and two nights, back-to-back in June 2001. One of Hard Rock Hotel & Casino’s memorabilia cases features items from Tom Petty including a 12-string Rickenbacker guitar signed by Petty; RIAA-certified gold record presented to Hard Rock Hotel to commemorate more than 500,000 copies sold of the album “Southern Accents;” a Chimayo suede blanket jacket worn by Petty during his tour with Bob Dylan from 1986 to 1987; and a photograph of Dylan, Petty and the Heartbreakers.
