Las Vegas Coalition for Zero Fatalities Pledges $15,000 In Free Lyft Ride Credits This Independence Day Weekend
New and existing users can receive $5 off one ride using code SMARTRIDEUSA
Members of the Las Vegas Coalition for Zero Fatalities collectively committed $15,000 in free Lyft credit to encourage responsible rideshare options and remind Nevadans to Always Drive Sober while celebrating this Fourth of July weekend, July 2 – 5. Steadfast in its efforts to reach Zero Fatalities on Nevada’s roadways, the landmark coalition is dedicated to eliminating impaired-related fatalities and increasing the visibility and accessibility of rideshare options this Independence Day.
Beginning 5 p.m. Friday, July 2 through 5 a.m. Monday, July 5 the Las Vegas Coalition for Zero Fatalities will offer $5 off one Lyft ride to the first 3,000 new and existing users. The limited-time offer can be accessed within the Lyft mobile app with code SMARTRIDEUSA, while supplies last.
“With Las Vegas fully reopened, we except an increase in the number of both locals and tourists on Nevada’s roadways,” said Zero Fatalities Program Manager Andrew Bennett. “Summer is a historically fatal time on Nevada’s roadways and it is imperative to not lose sight of the fact that Lives Are On The Line each and every time we get behind the wheel.”
