THRIVE CANNABIS MARKETPLACE TO HOST GRAND OPENING OF NEW LAS VEGAS SOUTHERN HIGHLANDS DISPENSARY, OCT. 23 AND 24
Location to Feature First-Ever Automated Conveyor-Belt Technology, Experiential
Art Installation
THRIVE Cannabis Marketplace celebrates the opening of its newest, most technologically advanced and aesthetically eye-catching location in Las Vegas’ Southern Highlands neighborhood on Oct. 23 and 24. The grand opening weekend will feature free pizza from Custom Pizza Truck for each guest who makes a purchase of $60 or more beginning at 3 p.m. on Friday and 11 a.m. on Saturday while supplies last. Located just off Interstate 15 at 3698 West Cactus Ave. Las Vegas, NV 89141, the new dispensary marks the fifth location for THRIVE, the state’s largest independently owned cannabis retailer. The new store’s hours will be 8 a.m. to midnight, seven days a week.
A first for cannabis dispensaries in Las Vegas is the addition of an automated conveyor belt system that carries the product from the inventory and packaging department in the back of house, across the store’s ceiling, delivering it to the front desk cashier where the customer makes the purchase. This system enhances security by reducing the amount of product in the display cases in the main area, while also speeding up purchase fulfillment time and decreasing the number of people handling products.
Also setting this dispensary apart from any other will be its dazzling exterior window displays featuring a large art installation created by renowned experiential design company Creative Creatures and Artisans on Fire. Artwork inside the display cases include neon signs, jungle foliage, fashion mannequins with plastic animal heads and a statue of Julius Caesar.
In addition to curbside, delivery and in-store sales, THRIVE Cannabis Marketplace’s Southern Highlands location also will feature convenient, self-service CocoonPod™ “Cocoon” kiosks (Australis Capital’s (CSE: AUSA) (OTC: AUSAF) “AUSA”). The Cocoon kiosks provide an industry first, consumer-facing, self-service interface, representing a new, interactive and innovative way to reduce wait times, eliminate queues, maintain social distancing and enhance information security.
THRIVE remains committed to understanding and facilitating the needs of its customers while honoring the laws governing cannabis.
