Disney’s THE LITTLE MERMAID
Hailed as Broadway’s “Under the Sea Spectacular,” Disney’s THE LITTLE MERMAID tells the story of a beautiful young mermaid named Ariel, who longs to leave her ocean home to live in the world above. Based on one of Hans Christian Andersen’s most beloved stories, with music by eight-time Academy Award® winner Alan Menken, it’s a hauntingly beautiful love story for the ages. Come fall in love with the magic for the first time—or all over again—with classics such as “Under the Sea,” “Kiss the Girl” and “Part of Your World,” and join beloved characters such as Flounder, Sebastian and more as they transform her forbidden love into reality. Performing at The Smith Center for a limited time only, Disney’s THE LITTLE MERMAID promises to win your heart this fall.
Rodgers & Hammerstein’s THE KING AND I
Celebrated worldwide as one of Rodgers & Hammerstein’s finest works, THE KING AND I boasts a score that features such beloved classics as “Getting To Know You,” “I Whistle a Happy Tune,” “Hello Young Lovers,” “Shall We Dance” and “Something Wonderful.” Set in 1860’s Bangkok, this musical tells the story of the unconventional and tempestuous relationship that develops between the King of Siam and Anna Leonowens, a British schoolteacher whom the modernist King, in an imperialistic world, brings to Siam to teach his many wives and children. Winner of the 2015 Tony® Award for “Best Musical Revival,” THE KING AND I is “too beautiful to miss” (New York Magazine). Experience one of the most iconic love stories of all time – brought to life at The Smith Center for the Performing Arts for a limited time only.
In addition to these all-time favorites, the 2017-2018 Broadway Las Vegas Series will feature HAMILTON, THE CURIOUS INCIDENT OF THE DOG IN THE NIGHT-TIME, THE BODYGUARD – THE MUSICAL, RENT 20TH ANNIVERSARY TOUR, LOVE NEVER DIES and THE COLOR PURPLE.
