The Mob Museum, the National Museum of Organized Crime and Law Enforcement, announces its original podcast, “Inside the Life,” has been nominated for the 29th Webby Awards and its People’s Voice Awards in the category of Podcast Shows – History. Hailed as the “Internet’s highest honor” by The New York Times, The Webby Awards, presented by the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences (IADAS), is the leading international awards organization honoring excellence on the internet. Voting is open to the public now through Wednesday, April 17, at vote.webbyawards.com.
Created and produced by The Mob Museum, “Inside the Life” is hosted by elite former undercover agents Giovanni Rocco and Dutch McAlpin. The podcast pulls listeners deep into the world of covert law enforcement, featuring riveting firsthand accounts of infiltrating violent biker gangs, dismantling international cartels and taking down the Mob. Season one features stories from both the agents and their guests, including law enforcement legends, reformed criminals and Hollywood figures from “The Sopranos,” “Narcos” and beyond.

This latest nomination adds to an impressive list of accolades for “Inside the Life.” Season one previously received a Gold Signal Award for “Best New Podcast,” a Silver Signal Award for “Best Trailer” and two Platinum MUSE Creative Awards in the categories of “Website – Podcasting” and “Audio – Podcast.”
