The Mirage’s ‘ACES OF COMEDY’ SERIES ADDS NEW 2020 SHOW DATES FOR TOP-TIER ACTS

The Aces of Comedy series at The Mirage Hotel & Casino adds new show dates to an already packed lineup of comedians, including George Lopez, Jay Leno, Kathleen Madigan and Bert Kreischer. All shows are scheduled to begin at 10 p.m.

Tickets for the 2020 Aces of Comedy series through June are now on sale, with additional 2020 dates going on sale Friday, Feb 28 at 10 a.m. PT. GEORGE LOPEZ
George Lopez’s multi-faceted career encompasses television, film, standup comedy and late-night television. Lopez is currently on his standup comedy tour in arenas across the country. He recently completed his standup comedy tour “The Comedy Get Down” with Eddie Griffin, D.L. Hughley, and Cedric the Entertainer. Lopez co-created, wrote, produced and starred in Warner Bros. Television’s groundbreaking hit sitcom “George Lopez” which ran for six seasons on ABC. On film, he was last seen in “El Chicano” alongside Raúl Castillo, Aimee Garcia and Emilio Rivera. JAY LENO

Jay Leno is an acclaimed TV late-night show host, admired standup comedian, best-selling children’s book author, much-in-demand corporate speaker, lovable TV and movie voice-over artist, pioneering car builder and mechanic, and philanthropist. Leno served as the host of the #1-rated “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno” for two decades and is currently the host of CNBC’s “Jay Leno’s Garage.” Leno has been honored by the Television Academy with an Emmy for “Outstanding Comedy, Variety or Music Series.” “The Tonight Show” has also taken home the trophy for “Favorite Late Night Show” in the annual TV Guide Awards determined by voting viewers. KATHLEEN MADIGAN

BERT KREISCHER

Bert Kreischer is an American stand-up comedian, actor, writer and host who performs to sellout crowds across the globe. His standup specials “Secret Time” and “The Machine” are currently streaming globally on Netflix and his third special, “Hey Big Boy,” debuts on the platform next month.  Described as having a “rare and incredible talent” (Interrobang), Bert has evolved from being named Rolling Stone’s 1997 “Number One Partier in the Nation” to one of the top names in comedy. Between his two previous standup specials “The Machine” on Showtime (2016) and “Comfortably Dumb” on Comedy Central (2009), his two podcasts: “Bertcast,” and “Open Tabs,” his YouTube cooking show: “Something’s Burning,” his book “Life of the Party: Stories of a Perpetual Man-Child,” Bert has succeeded in finding the elusive blend of “being a cringe comedian with real insight” (Interrobang).  Lauded as one of the best storytellers of his generation, Bert seamlessly and sincerely shares anecdotes about his family and fatherhood while showing his ability to prove “that there’s a way to take his [party-boy] antics into middle-age,” (Forbes). JIM JEFFERIES
Jim Jefferies is one of the most popular and respected comedians of his generation, entertaining audiences around the world with his provocative, belief-challenging and thought-provoking comedy. He was recently honored as Stand-Up Comedian of the Year at the Just for Laughs Festival. His eponymous Comedy Central series, “The Jim Jefferies Show,” debuted its third and final season on March 19, 2019. As a strong voice in late night, the weekly series featured Jim traveling across the globe to tackle the top news stories and controversial issues of the day. The show was nominated for a WGA Award. Jim has signed a first-look deal with Comedy Central for content development in television and digital media. He is also working with NBC on a multi-camera pilot which he would star in from writer-producer Suzanne Martin, Sean Hayes and Todd Milliner’s Hazy Mills and Universal TV.
