Fresh, Familiar Faces Added to the 2014 Aces of Comedy Series

ANTHONY  JESELNIK Emmy Award-nominee Anthony Jeselnik will return to the Aces of Comedy series at The Mirage Friday, May 2. Jeselnik, the first stand-up comic to appear on “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon,” currently stars in “The Jeselnik Offensive,” his television show on Comedy Central. Fans also may know the quick-witted comic from his appearances on the “Comedy Central Roasts of Donald Trump and Charlie Sheen.”

MIKE BIRBIGLIA Award-winning filmmaker, author and comedian Mike Birbiglia will make his Aces of Comedy debut inside the Terry Fator Theatre Saturday, May 3. Join Birbiglia when he visits Cats-a-chusetts, argues with someone about their nut allergy, hosts an awards show for angry celebrities and learns Fozzie Bear is a tough act to follow.

Lewis Black

LEWIS BLACK Actor, playwright and comedian Lewis Black will return to The Mirage, bringing his spot-on social and political humor to the Terry Fator Theatre. The comedian is a four-time GRAMMY Award-nominee and two-time winner for his records The Carnegie Hall Performance and Stark Raving Black. Black will perform his stand-up comedy on the following dates and times:

•    Friday, May 16:  10 p.m. •    Saturday, May 17:  8 p.m.

KATHLEEN MADIGAN Best known for appearing on NBC’s “Last Comic Standing,” Kathleen Madigan will return to The Mirage for a “one-night stand.” Having won the American Comedy Award and the Phyllis Diller Award for “Best Female Comedian,” Madigan has written and produced for Lewis Black’s Comedy Central special “Root of All Evil.”
