One-of-a-kind, specialty craft cocktail menu now available at the iconic Sand Dollar Downtown

The iconic Sand Dollar Downtown has announced its rocking new spring craft cocktail menu at The Plaza Hotel & Casino. Influenced by classic songs and crafted in-house by The Sand Dollar team, including co-owners Anthony Jamison and Nathan Grates, the spring menu once again pushes the boundaries of what a cocktail program can be, while offering guests a wide range of fun, balanced, and most importantly, delicious drinks to go along with The Sand Dollar’s nightly live music.

Featuring an assortment of unique spirits, and sometimes-uncommon ingredients, the new spring cocktail menu showcases more than a dozen craft cocktails at The Plaza Hotel & Casino location at 1 N. Main St, Las Vegas, NV 89101 in Downtown Las Vegas.

The Sand Dollar Downtown’s new spring cocktail menu includes:

  • Prickly Thorn, But Sweetly Worn (The White Stripes) – Peppery oregano-infused Vodka, green chili, bitter citrus, and candy sweet prickly pear syrup make this daisy style cocktail one that beckons you to sip again and again.
  • Little Latin Lupe Lu (The Righteous Brothers) – A mix on a classic Old Fashioned that is small, strong, and a lil’ spicy. Bourbon, Mexican Cacao, Maple Syrup, Orange Bitters, Cacao Bitters, and a pinch of salt.
  • Close Your Eyes (& Count To F—K) (Run the Jewels) – A Mezcal White Negroni and Piña Colada mash up with Mezcal, Coconut Rum, fresh Pineapple Juice, fresh Lemon, Simple Syrup and Angostura Bitters.
  • Material Girl (Madonna) – A pumpkin espresso latte bombshell with Reposado Tequila, Ancho Reyes Chili Liquor, Allspice Dram, house made Cold Brew, Coconut Pumpkin Spice, Fratello Hazelnut Liquor, and Cranberry Bitters.
  • Forbidden Fruit (J. Cole) – A fruity, herbal, savory, and refreshing “iced T” with Ketel Botanical Peach & Orange Blossom, Western Style Gin, Sag Tomato Water, Black Pepper Honey, and fresh Lemon.
  • It’s 5 O’clock Somewhere (Alan Jackson & Jimmy Buffet 2003) – A riff on the classic Michelada that will clear the fog from the night before. Ancho Reyes Ancho Chile Liqueur, Sherry Wine, fresh lime, fresh lemon, house Bloody Mary, cold Lager, and a Kaffir Lime Leaf salt half-rim.

The Sand Dollar Downtown is located inside The Plaza Hotel & Casino at 1 N. Main St, Las Vegas, NV 89101 in Downtown Las Vegas.  Hours of operation are Monday through Sunday from 4 p.m. to 4 a.m.

About The Sand Dollar Lounge
Originally opened as a blues bar in 1976, The Sand Dollar quickly became a draw for iconic musicians including Muddy Waters, B.B. King, and even Mick Jagger over its first 30 years.
