The Habit Restaurants, Inc. (Nasdaq: HABT), an Irvine-based restaurant company renowned for its award-winning Charburgers, has announced the release of its Strawberry Balsamic Chicken Salad, a salad as satisfying as summer itself. The limited time special is available now through summer at participating Habit Burger Grill locations, including The Habit Burger Grill at Howard Hughes Center, and is priced at $7.50.
The Habit’s Strawberry Balsamic Chicken Salad features a refreshing blend of perfectly seasoned chargrilled chicken breast atop a bed of hand-cut garden greens with fresh sliced strawberries, dried blueberries and feta cheese crumbles, tossed in a house-made strawberry balsamic vinaigrette making for a succulent option for any summers day.
“As summer approaches, we wanted to come up with a menu item that reflected the fun and refreshing feeling of summertime,” says chef Adam Baird, The Habit’s vice president of food & beverage and creator of the new limited time special. “When we think of summer foods, we think of the delicious ripe strawberry and pair that with fresh greens and a tasty vinaigrette. There’s nothing more crisp and energizing than that.”
