The Front Yard, Ellis Island Casino Hotel & Brewery’s new beer garden, restaurant and entertainment venue, is now serving brunch every Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., with live entertainment from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The menu features a reimagined twist on traditional brunch items such as hearty home skillets with the Caveman Skillet: country fried potatoes with bacon, sausage, ground beef, smoked gouda and cheddar cheese, topped with two eggs any style ($9.99); egg dishes like the Caprese Omelet: fresh mozzarella, Heirloom tomatoes and basil folded inside an omelet and served with country bread ($8.99); the Smoked Bacon Egg Benedict: three poached eggs, hollandaise sauce, two slices of house-cured and smoked bacon, served on thick cut country bread ($9.99); or Loco Moco: ground beef seared and served on steamed rice, mushroom gravy and two eggs any style ($9.99). Of course, brunch wouldn’t be complete without bottomless mimosas for just $20 or enjoy “Rosé all day” for $30!
Sharing is caring with Brunch Punch for Two ($20 each): Strawberry Fields Forever (Smirnoff Vodka, Moscato, lemon-lime Soda, strawberry puree and fresh basil); or Pono Punch (Bacardi Silver, Melon, fresh pineapple juice, fresh lime and mint). Pair the Punch with a tasty selection of wood-fired flatbreads from Classic Pepperoni and Margherita Fiore ($11.99 each) to Salmon Lox: smoked lox, cream cheese, avocado, sliced onion, capers, egg and dill sour cream, topped with everything bagel seasoning ($12.99); or choose from a selection of starters including the popular Big Ol’ Meatball: 8 oz. meatball mixed with fresh Italian herbs and spices, served with roasted garlic marinara and topped with shredded Parmigiano-Reggiano ($8.99); or the Bacon Mac & Cheese: house made bacon, cavatappi pasta and Ellis Island Koval Pilsner Beer Cheese ($6.99).
Rounding out the menu are selections ranging from sweet, like the Maple Cinnamon French Toast ($7.99) and Bread Pudding served with maple bourbon ice cream ($6.99); to savory, such as the Duck Fat Poutine: potato scoop fries smothered with duck gravy and topped with green onions and Parmesan cheese ($6.99) and a Bloody Mary Oyster Shooter: an oyster in a Bloody Mary blend, served in a shot glass ($3.99; add a shot of vodka for $5).
