THE D LAS VEGAS TO HOST “INSPIRED by the D” POP-UP SPACE AT LIFE IS BEAUTIFUL
Downtown Casino Hotel Invites Attendees to Hit the Beach, Be Creative and Spread Happiness
Embracing the whimsy and spirit of Life Is Beautiful, the D Las Vegas will host “INSPIRED by the D” – a pop-up space in the heart of the three-day festival in Downtown Las Vegas.
For the second year, the D will transform the intersection of Fremont and Seventh Streets (the site of City Center Motel) into an immersive experience that invites all festival-goers to participate in unique and inspired activities.
- Life’s A Beach. Complete with volleyball, a DJ and 150 tons of sand, the D will bring the beach to the streets of Sin City. Guests are invited to ditch their troubles (and their shoes) and hang loose as they sip on freshly made juices and smoothies.
- Take A Smile, Leave A Smile. Last year, festival attendees left their mark by contributing a personalized brick to a community wall, suggesting the whole is greater than the sum of its parts. This year, each visitor will have the opportunity to snap their photo in front of the wall to contribute to a massive photo collage commemorating the 2014 event. In return, participants will receive a photo and accompanying message with the goal of encouraging the practice of random acts of kindness towards fellow festival-goers.
- Up In The Air. To inspire those beyond the gates of Life is Beautiful, guests can release messages of hope and happiness attached to red balloons* throughout each day. After the closing set each night, the D will illuminate the skies with a surprise display. the D’s resident entertainer and local favorite Frankie Scinta will host the experience.
*All released balloons are environmentally friendly and biodegradable.
