Downtown Festival Will Feature More Than 60 Craft Brews From Around the World
On Saturday, Sept. 14 the D and Golden Gate will host their inaugural beerfest featuring more than 60 craft beers from 50 breweries around the world. Starting at 5 p.m., the downtown hotels invite guests to gather in front of the historic Golden Gate on the Fremont Street Experience for a brew-filled festival.
From craft lagers and indulgent malts to crisp ales and refreshing ciders, One Fremont Street will be a beer lover’s paradise. Aficionados can choose to sample five beers for $20 or enjoy “bottomless brews” for $40. Single drafts will also be available for purchase.
Keeping with the downtown party atmosphere, a DJ will spin upbeat jams from the Main Street Stage while Golden Gate’s signature dancing dealers show off their best moves from OneBar. To help festival-goers soak up the booze, legendary Coney Dogs from Detroit’s iconic American Coney Island will be available for purchase.
