Grammy-nominated The Fray continues to receive praise for their third full-length album Scars & Stories, out now on Epic Records. Scars & Stories has garnered attention from USA Today, calling the album “more muscular and more buoyant,” while still maintaining a “searching earnestness that will delight the faithful.” People Magazine continues that the new album is a “solid effort that is easy on the ears.”  The making of Scars and Stories fostered the most evolution the band has ever experienced, both lyrically and musically. “On our first record, we didn’t quite trust ourselves yet,” says pianist/vocalist Isaac Slade. “We loosened up on the second album, but there was still some element of restraint. But on this one, we just stepped up to plate and swung as hard as we could.”  The band formed in 2002 and achieved national success with their first single, “Over My Head (Cable Car),” which became a top ten hit in the U.S., and the release of their second single, “How to Save a Life,” brought them worldwide fame.

Since bursting onto the music scene ten years ago, Kelly Clarkson has released five studio albums (Thankful, Breakaway, My December, All I Ever Wanted, Stronger), sold over 20 million albums worldwide, 10 million albums in the U.S. and has had ten singles in the Top 10 on the Billboard Hot 100 Singles Chart.  She is the recipient of two Grammy Awards, four American Music Awards, three MTV Video Music Awards, two Academy of Country Music Awards, one Country Music Association Award and 12 Billboard Music Awards.  Clarkson’s most recent effort, Stronger, debuted at No. 2 on both the Billboard Top 200 and Digital Albums Chart.  The album is certified Gold by the R.I.A.A. and produced the smash singles “Mr. Know It All” and “Stronger (What Doesn’t Kill You),” which marks Kelly’s ninth and tenth top ten hits.  “Stronger (What Doesn’t Kill You) was No. 1 on Billboard’s Hot 100 Chart for two consecutive weeks (three weeks total) marking her third No. 1 song on the Hot 100 chart after 2002’s “A Moment Like This” and 2009’s “My Life Would Suck Without You.” Clarkson is currently touring the U.S., mentoring for Team Blake on NBC’s The Voice, and will star in ABC’s new reality competition, Duets this summer.
