THE COMPOSERS ROOM SHOWLOUNGE & RESTAURANT TO HOST A SPECIAL PERFORMANCE OF “THE COCKTAIL CABARET,” JUNE 20

The Composers Room Showlounge & Restaurant, the ultimate vintage Vegas entertainment destination located in the heart of the Historic Commercial Center, announces it will host the critically acclaimed ensemble, “The Cocktail Cabaret,” for a one-night-only show on June 20.

As a winner of the 2018 Best of Las Vegas Awards, “The Cocktail Cabaret” is celebrated for its sophisticated blend of musical virtuosity and humor, captivating audiences with classic and contemporary hits. Original members Niki Scalera and Maren Wade, recognized for their outstanding contributions to the entertainment industry, will reunite for this occasion. Scalera is celebrated for her roles in “Hairspray,” “Tarzan” and “Footloose” and brings unparalleled vocal prowess and stage presence. Wade is a versatile performer known for her appearances in “Lady Like,” “Confessions of a Showgirl” and “America’s Got Talent” bringing unique charisma to the group.

Adding to the ensemble’s brilliance is baritone Doug Carpenter, whose credits include standout performances in “Beautiful, the Carol King Musical,” “Dirty Dancing” and “Baz.” Beloved Vegas entertainer and comic, Tony Arias, will be the show emcee for the evening.

The show will be backed by a four-piece band led by co-producer and renowned pianist Dr. Philip Fortenberry, alongside drummer Don Meoli, bassist Josh Jones and saxophonist Dave Stambaugh.

Guests can expect 90 minutes of original music and reimagined classics including beloved tunes like “Girls Just Wanna Have Fun,” “Viva Las Vegas,” “Diamonds Are Forever,” “That’s Life” and “Bridge Over Troubled Water.”
