The Beverly Theater Spotlights Buzzworthy Indie Films, Memberships, and a Valentine’s Day Mystery Date
Celebrating the art of independent film this award season with currently nominated titles and former films from before this year’s buzz, The Beverly Theater spotlights indie films and filmmakers. The city’s only indie film house, live music venue, and storytelling arena also introduces the B+ membership program and presents the perfect Valentine’s Day date night.

The Beverly Theater promised uncommon experiences. That mission continues with the debut of its new membership program B+. A members-only membership program made exclusively for members B+ heeds the call of locals who want to be inaugural members. The not-for-profit venue has created the program to further build a community of creatives who already know where all the cool kids are.
B+ members will receive a variety of benefits including $8 movie tickets, $6 popcorn, early access to premier show announcements and events, close-friends-list offers on Instagram, custom merchandise opportunities, rotating drink specials, and quarterly members-only theater takeovers with hosted food, beverage, and entertainment. B+ offers three different membership opportunities that are billed annually:
Solo – $99
For individuals who have a lot of friends but don’t want to show off.
Duo – $149
Add your match and get two memberships for the price of 1 ½.
Community – $79
Mission-oriented pricing for teachers, students, seniors, veterans, and lumberjacks.

Blind Date with a Movie – February, 14
It’s a mystery date night and a reminder to never judge a film by its cover. Take a chance and be surprised together this Valentine’s Day with an unknown but beloved romantic classic. For those who can guess it, don’t be a spoiler. For those who can’t, we promise it doesn’t suck.
Movie # 1 at 6 p.m.
Hint: Rebel teen, strict dad, and some poetry.
Movie # 2 at 8 p.m.
Hint: Forbidden summer love with a lift.
About The Beverly Theater
Imagined by The Rogers Foundation, the 14,306 square-foot film house and concert theater features three distinct areas: the main theater, Segue (jazz terrace), and courtyard, each designed with purpose and intention. The Beverly Theater has an on-site box office, retail/concession space. The main theater features raked seating of nearly 150 seats resting on a retractable platform that can allow for an expanded concert capacity of up to 500. Designed as a touring house, other premier concert-mode amenities include Meyer sound, meet and greet spaces, easy load-in, unobstructed sightlines, artist lounge/green room, ETC control, unmatched acoustics, and state-of-the-art connectivity and control.
