The Barbershop Cuts & Cocktails, the rock ‘n’ roll speakeasy hidden within The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, will spend Halloween weekend honoring those influential rockstars who tragically passed at the age of 27. From Thursday, Oct. 31 to Sunday, Nov. 3, The Barbershop’s live music program will be dedicated to covering the greatest hits from these musicians who we lost too soon. A full calendar of performances is below:
● Thursday, Oct. 31: 27 Club Show
○ The tribute starts at 11:30 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 31 with a special performance from 27 – A Muscial Adventure, a specialty tribute concert to honor the music icons that were lost too soon at the age of 27. The show takes the audience on a retrospective musical journey, showcasing each artist’s respective contributions to the musical landscape before culminating with the artists all performing together on one stage in a rock concert like no other. Thursday’s show will feature Adi Argelazi, singer for White Witch and YYNOT, as Janis Joplin; Toby Rand, former Rockstar Supernova finalist, as Jim Morrison; Nazim Chambi, lead guitarist of Mojo Juju, as Jimi Hendrix; Gabe Maska, bassist for VENREZ, The Clone Temple Pilots and Budderside, as Kurt Cobain; and Lea Capelli, lead singer of Mojo Juju, as Amy Winehouse.
● Friday, Nov. 1: The Regulators
○ Barbershop favorites The Regulators, featuring former Savage Garden and Lifehouse guitarist Ben Carey on guitar; former Lifehouse bassist Bryce Soderberg on bass and vocals; and powerhouse Al Serrato on drums, take the stage by storm and rock out for a high-energy, face-melting experience.
● Saturday, Nov. 2: Radio XX
○ Radio XX, an all-star rock band featuring Ben Carey, former lead guitarist of Lifehouse, Savage Garden and Vertical Horizon; Bryce Soderberg, former bass and vocals for Lifehouse; Toby Rand, former finalist of Rockstar Supernova, on lead vocals; and powerhouse drummer Al Seratto, honor the late greats with covers of their most recognizable hits.
● Sunday, Nov. 3: Mojo Juju
○ Pop, rock, funk and soul are at the heart of this energetic Las Vegas band starring Lea Capelli on vocals and Nazim Chambi on guitar.
