Tailgate Social at Palace Station to Host Thanksgiving Day
Football Watch Parties, Feature Festive Dishes
Local sports hot spot Tailgate Social Sports Bar & Grill at Palace Station Hotel & Casino is where football meets food, and Thanksgiving Day will be no exception. Opening at noon on Thursday, Nov. 23, Tailgate will broadcast the day’s two anticipated football games while guests gobble up specialty dishes available exclusively for Thanksgiving.
Tailgate will open its doors for guests at noon to broadcast the Dallas Cowboys vs. Washington Commanders game at 1:30 p.m., followed by Seattle Seahawks against the San Francisco 49ers at 5:20 p.m. In addition, Tailgate will serve two festive dish specials for the holiday: the Lil’ Robbie Sandwich, stacked with slow-roasted turkey, house-made stuffing, cranberry sauce and a cranberry aioli, priced at $17; and a classic Thanksgiving plate, featuring herb-roasted white turkey served with whipped mashed potatoes and gravy, house-made stuffing and cranberry sauce, priced at $27.
Patrons can also give thanks for Tailgate’s variety of delicious cocktails, including the Social Smash, created with Jim Beam bourbon, brown sugar, mint and Stiegl grapefruit lager, priced at $15; the Moon Runner, featuring Firefly strawberry moonshine, lemonade and a Red Bull float, priced at $15; the Game Day Margarita, made with Espolon tequila, Cointreau, lime, agave and a Grand Marnier float, priced at $15; or one of dozens of beers available on tap.
