Tailgate Social and The Still to Offer Specialty Cocktails for the
Inaugural International Race in Las Vegas this November
Local sports hot spots, Tailgate Social Sports Bar & Grill at Palace Station Hotel & Casino and The Still at The Mirage Hotel & Casino, will step on the gas during the world-renowned grand prix coming to Las Vegas this November with thrilling cocktails, available exclusively from Thursday, Nov. 16 through Saturday, Nov. 18.
In honor of the internationally celebrated drivers, both restaurants will serve three specialty cocktails, including the Verstappen Martini, made with orange juice, Red Bull, grape juice and garnished with basil leaves and an orange slice; Hamilton Highball featuring Johnnie Walker whiskey and club soda complete with a lemon garnish; and Riccardo Refresher, prepared with Patrón Reposado tequila, grape juice, agave syrup, lime juice, sparkling water and garnished with a grapefruit wedge. The cocktails will be priced at $13 each at Tailgate Social, and priced at $16 each at The Still.
Tailgate Social, a high-energy sports bar and grill with a vast beer list and signature sports-themed cocktails, is a prime place to catch football games with more than 30 HDTVs positioned throughout the venue. Menu favorites include the shareable appetizer sampler platter featuring wings, a chicken quesadilla, pretzel bites and chips, priced at $33; New York strip steak topped with roasted balsamic butter with a side of crispy french fries, priced at $29; salmon sandwich served with house-made lemon aioli, tomato and arugula, served on a toasted brioche bun, priced at $22; and more. The perfect destination to gather with friends, Tailgate also features games like pool, shuffleboard, foosball and video poker machines.
The Still, a sports lover’s paradise with a bustling center bar, will also host watch parties with games broadcasted across its 27 HDTVs. The centerpiece of The Still showcases a refurbished Airstream trailer that serves as the kitchen offering upscale bar food and more than 50 craft beers. Signature dishes include the Game Time platter, ideal for sharing with sliders, wings, a chicken quesadilla and fries, priced at $45; lobster roll, served with New England style lobster salad on a warm jalapeno cheddar roll, priced at $35; filet mignon steak skewers, which presents certified angus tenderloin and house-made A1 butter, priced at $49; among others.
Tailgate Social and The Still provide ample space for hosting large group buyouts with A/V capabilities, full-service bars and group dining menus. With 3,115 square feet of space, Tailgate Social can seat up to 125 guests and 306 reception style. The Still, boasting 8,000 square feet of space, can seat up to 190 guests and 330 reception style. In addition, The Still features a private Man Cave complete with four HDTVs and seating up to 14 people, alongside an indoor patio with seating for up to 34 guests.
